  4. What does it do?
  5.  
  6. Tardis is a Windows 95 program that synchronises your PCÆs clock to a serverÆs. It is
  7. used where your PC is connected to a remote machine by TCP/IP, SLIP, or PPP.  A
  8. typical use would be to synchronise the clock on starting a SLIP/PPP connection to an
  9. Internet provider (like demon).  Another would be to have it running all the time in a
  10. LAN environment correcting the clock once an hour.

  13. Installation

  15. You should have already unpacked the .zip file to have read this so I assume that bit
  16. went OK.

  18. Right click on the tardis95.inf file and select install.  That's all!.  
  19. Tardis is installed in the "\Program Files\Tardis95" folder.  It also appears in
  20. the accessories group.

  23. Deinstallation

  25. Use the "Add/Remove programs" option in the control panel to remove it.
